Questions people ask
How old do I need to be?
You need to be 18 or older for Classes A, A1, B, B1 and G. For C1, C, CE, C1E, D1, D, DE and F you need to be 25 or older and already hold Class B. Passenger classes D1, D and DE also need 5 years of driving experience.
What are the steps to get my permit?
- Enroll with a licensed driving school
- Apply for a learner permit (with a medical report) and collect it from a UDLS office
- Complete your lessons and get a Certificate of Completion
- Pass the driving test at the Inspectorate of Vehicles (IOV)
- Apply and pay for your full driving permit, then collect it from UDLS
What do I need to bring when I enroll?
A valid ID (National ID or passport) and a phone number we can reach you on. We will guide you through the learner permit application.
How do I pay?
Pay with MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money. After paying, send us the Transaction ID from your Mobile Money SMS on WhatsApp and we confirm it.
What is the difference between Express and Normal?
Express takes 1 week. Normal takes 1 month. Class Extension takes 1 week. Each course page shows the prices, or tap Ask for price to ask us on WhatsApp.
I already have a licence. Can I add another class?
Yes. Choose Class Extension on our courses page. You keep your current licence and add the new class after passing the IOV test.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Pay a deposit to secure your place and you can clear the balance later.
